Polyester top cover D13N is a blue, rough-finished polyester fabric at 155 gsm and 170 cm width. It is the most economical polyester cover quality in the Trecolan range, intended for operations that change covers regularly and in volume.
What is D13N intended for?
D13N is a standard top cover for ironing tables in tailoring workshops, laundries and garment manufacturing. The rough surface grips the garment so parts do not slip while being positioned. For very smooth outer fabrics, the smooth D8 quality is the better choice.
What does the 170 cm width offer?
At 170 cm even large ironing tables and wide press plates can be covered without a seam. Seams are critical on press covers because they can imprint as a line under pressure; the wide roll removes that risk.
Cost efficiency in daily operation
With 50 m rolls and a low price per metre, the cost per cover change is very low. In practice this pays off wherever covers are replaced rather than repaired, for example in high-throughput operations with changing garment types.

Häufige Fragen
Why is D13N so much cheaper than D4?
Lower fabric weight and a simpler finish. In return, service life under continuous pressure is shorter.
Is the rough surface a disadvantage?
Only on very smooth or coated outer fabrics where the structure may show. For standard goods the grip is an advantage.
What roll length is supplied?
Rolls of 50 metres are standard; the fabric is sold from one running metre.
