PTFE glass fabric TG125-AS SK combines two properties that normally come separately: an antistatic finish and a self-adhesive backing. It is 0.15 mm thick and 100 cm wide.
Two functions in one covering
Self-adhesive non-stick coverings exist in a static version (TG8-SK); antistatic fabrics usually come without an adhesive layer. TG125-AS SK combines both: it can be applied without mechanical fixing and dissipates electrostatic charge at the same time.
Where this combination is needed
On heating plates and sealing bars in environments with heavy fibre fly: garment factories, cutting rooms, nonwoven processing. A static covering attracts fibre fly there, an antistatic one stays clean – and the adhesive layer saves designing a clamping device.
Application
Clean and degrease the substrate, peel off the release liner, apply the fabric without creases and press down with a squeegee. For narrow applications, tape widths of 25, 50 and 100 mm are available.

Häufige Fragen
How does TG125-AS SK differ from TG8-SK?
TG8-SK is brown and static, TG125-AS SK is black and antistatic; otherwise the thickness and width are identical.
Is the adhesive layer permanently heat resistant?
The silicone adhesive is designed for use on heated surfaces; check the application at extreme continuous temperatures.
Can the fabric be removed again?
Usually yes, supported by gentle warming.
