PTFE glass fabric tape TG8-SK is the narrow, self-adhesive tape version of the non-stick glass fabric, available in 25, 50 and 100 mm width on rolls of 30 metres.
Use on sealing bars
During film sealing, plastic melts directly at the heating bar. Without a non-stick covering the melt sticks and the seal tears on opening. The PTFE tape forms a release layer that keeps the bar clear while still transmitting heat.
Further applications
As edge protection on machine parts, as a sliding surface on guides, as a release strip on pressing and gluing machines, and wherever a narrow non-stick surface is needed for which a wide web would be excessive.
Ordering and application
The tapes are supplied in full rolls; one roll equals 30 metres. The substrate should be clean and free of grease. Apply the tape without creases and press down evenly. A 20 mm width is available on request.

The tapes are converted by the manufacturer into sealed 30 metre rolls; partial lengths are not available.
Which width is right?
It should cover the heating bar completely and overlap slightly on both sides.
Is there an antistatic version?
Yes, TG125-AS SK in 25, 50 and 100 mm.
