PTFE tape TG125-AS SK is the narrow, antistatic and self-adhesive tape version, available in 25, 50 and 100 mm width on 30 metre rolls.
Use on the sealing bar
During film sealing, molten plastic sticks to the heating bar and tears the seam open. A PTFE tape prevents this. The antistatic finish additionally stops dust and fibre fly settling on the tape, a problem that occurs regularly with static tapes.
Edges, guides and sliding surfaces
Besides sealing bars the tapes are used as edge protection, sliding surfaces on guides and release strips on gluing presses. The self-adhesive backing makes fitting a matter of minutes.
Ordering
The tapes are supplied in full rolls; one roll equals 30 metres. Before application, clean and degrease the substrate, apply the tape without creases and press down evenly.

What is the difference to the brown TG8-SK version?
TG8-SK is static, TG125-AS SK is antistatic, with otherwise identical thickness.
