Soft-Fix® SF15 is the rusty red, extra soft silicone foam pad from the Original range, available in 6, 8 and 10 mm at 134 cm width. It is the best-selling soft overpad in the programme.
The Soft-Fix colour coding
In the Soft-Fix® range every colour stands for a hardness. Rusty red means extra soft, yellow soft, blue medium, grey-green medium-firm, turquoise blue hard. This system simplifies selection considerably: anyone who knows which colour was fitted also knows the hardness.
Why extra soft?
An extra soft overpad absorbs raised parts of the garment completely. Buttons, seams and zips do not print through because the pad yields instead of building counter-pressure. For outerwear and delicate fabrics that is the standard case.
Thickness, quantity and cutting
6 mm for flat build-ups, 8 mm as a compromise, 10 mm for maximum compliance. Invoiced in square metres; one running metre at 134 cm equals 1.34 m². Cutting is in full running metres only.

Häufige Fragen
Which thickness is right?
That depends on the press opening height and the garments. 6 mm is the standard, 10 mm for strongly contoured goods.
Is SF15 also available in a narrow width?
Yes, as item 210240T with a 94 cm roll width.
How does SF15 differ from SF25?
SF25 is yellow and one hardness step firmer – slightly more stability with slightly less compliance.
