Silicone foam RBS is a natural white, soft special pad 10 mm thick at 100 cm roll width. It is tailored to the requirements of shirt and transfer presses.
Requirements of shirt presses
Shirt presses work with short cycle times, heavy steam use and predominantly light-coloured goods. The pad must therefore spring back quickly, pass plenty of steam and must never release colour. RBS meets all three points.
Why natural white
Dyed pads can release minimal amounts of colour under steam and heat over the years. On white shirts even a slight cast is noticeable. The natural white version of RBS eliminates that risk by design.
Use on transfer presses
On transfer presses, pressure is applied evenly across the whole area. A soft, uniformly yielding silicone pad ensures the transfer contacts evenly across the full surface, which is the precondition for a clean print without voids.
