The Teflon® iron shoe MICROFLON for Veit HD 2000/2002 is a non-stick iron shoe with an aluminium frame in the dimension 209 x 104 mm. Fits HD 2000 and HD 2002. It is fitted over the existing sole and prevents shine, sticking and residues on the garment.
Fitting instead of replacing
Rather than replacing a worn original sole, the MICROFLON shoe is simply fitted over it. For Veit HD 2000/2002 in the dimension 209 x 104 mm the change takes less than a minute and needs no tools. The original sole stays protected underneath and keeps its condition.
Dark fabrics without a pressing cloth
On dark wool fabrics one pressing pass too many is often enough to produce visible shine. With a PTFE shoe the pressing cloth becomes unnecessary because the coating already prevents direct metal contact. That saves a work step and improves the view of the garment.
Build quality in detail
MICROFLON shoes have a consistent foil thickness of 1.00 mm and aluminium thickness of 0.50 mm. The perforated areas are polished so the steam holes do not fray and pull threads. The spring is corrosion resistant and withstands continuous duty under steam.

Will the shoe fit my machine securely?
This version is made for Veit HD 2000/2002 with the dimension 209 x 104 mm. If in doubt, measure your original sole, as manufacturers change sole formats across production years.
Does the shoe change the pressing temperature?
Barely. Aluminium conducts heat very well; in practice a slight adjustment of the temperature setting may be all that is needed.
How is the shoe cleaned?
With a cleaning stick such as RS36 on the sole at operating temperature. Never use metal tools – scratches destroy the non-stick effect permanently.
