Kleanfix KF250 is a cleaning powder in a 250 g can. It dissolves baked-on adhesive and fibre residues on conveyor belts, fusing machines and iron soles.
The problem with baked-on residues
Hot-melt adhesive that cures on a hot surface can hardly be removed mechanically without damaging the surface. On PTFE belts and coated soles that is exactly the risk: a scratch in the coating destroys the non-stick effect permanently.
How the powder works
The powder is applied to the warmed surface and spread with a cloth. It dissolves the residues chemically and mechanically without attacking the coating. The surface is then wiped clean.
Powder instead of liquid
Powder can be dosed precisely, does not run into machine gaps and stays stable in storage for a long time. For cleaning hot surfaces that is the more practical approach compared with liquid agents.
