Trecolan ironfoam M5-T is a blue, open-cell PU foam with a 135 cm roll width in 5 and 10 mm thickness. It comes from the economical -T line and is the cheapest padding material in the range.<\/p>\n

Where the low price pays off<\/h2>\n

As an interlayer in multi-layer build-ups, as a backing pad beneath the actual pad, and as replacement material where consumption is high. Wherever padding is replaced on a planned, frequent schedule, material price is the most important factor.<\/p>\n

Open-cell structure<\/h2>\n

The open cells let steam and extraction air flow through the material. On ironing tables with extraction, drying performance is therefore retained, unlike with closed-cell foams which would block the air path.<\/p>\n

Ordering and limits<\/h2>\n

Invoiced in square metres; one running metre at 135 cm equals 1.35 m\u00b2. PU foam hardens faster than silicone foam at high continuous temperature. For presses in continuous operation the Soft-Fix\u00ae qualities are therefore the right choice.<\/p>\n
