MICRO-SIL foam silicone SIL81 in 4.5 mm thickness is the thin version in compact sheet format, available as 1300 x 700 mm and 1100 x 600 mm. Both formats are tailored to collar and shoulder presses.
Why small formats?
Collar and shoulder presses have working areas well below one square metre. Cutting these from an 1800 x 900 sheet discards most of the material. The compact formats reduce waste considerably and lower the cost per press.
4.5 mm for flat build-ups
Collar and shoulder presses work with a small opening height and high pressure over a small area. A thin, medium-firm pad is right here: it levels out the plate contour without losing the edge sharpness needed for collar stands.
Formats and sales unit
1300 x 700 mm equals 0.91 m², 1100 x 600 mm equals 0.66 m². Sold by the piece. For larger presses the 1800 x 900 mm format is available under item 240038T.
