Multi-Stretch MS60 is a white stretch knit at 620 gsm, available in 105 and 130 cm width. The high fabric weight makes the cover a cushioning pad at the same time.
Cover and padding in one layer
At 620 gsm, MS60 brings enough substance to take over part of the padding function itself. In flat build-ups this saves an interlayer, keeping the stack lower and the steam path shorter, which shortens drying time.
Service life at high cycle rates
The more often a press closes, the faster a lightweight cover fatigues. The heavy MS60 knit distributes pressing force across more material and therefore keeps its recovery force longer. In multi-shift operations the higher material price pays back through longer replacement intervals.
Choosing width and cutting
105 cm suits narrower press plates and sleeve bucks, 130 cm standard plates. When cutting, observe the main stretch direction and sew with an elastic stitch so the seam does not block the stretch.

Does MS60 replace an intermediate pad?
Partly, in flat build-ups. On strongly contoured plates a separate pad such as needlefelt or silicone foam still makes sense.
Which width should I choose?
105 cm for sleeve bucks and narrow plates, 130 cm for standard press plates.
Is MS60 steam permeable?
Yes. Despite the high weight the loop structure stays open enough for steam to pass.
