Nylon-Stretch NS2 is a dark blue elastic polyamide top cover at 260 gsm and 140 cm width. Compared with NS1 it brings around 13 % more material and is therefore designed for presses in continuous operation.
When to choose NS2 over NS1?
As soon as the press runs in multi-shift operation or works with high pressing force. The higher fabric weight spreads the load across more fibres, so recovery force is retained longer and the cover does not thin out as quickly.
The advantage of the dark colour
At finishing stations and in dry cleaning operations, dye residues and spotting agents settle in the cover. On dark blue such residues are barely visible, so the cover can stay in service longer as long as it is technically sound.
Processing
When cutting, place the main stretch direction across the pulling direction and sew with an elastic stitch. Tension springs, draw strings or clamping strips are suitable for fixing; because of the stretch, moderate pre-tension is enough.

Is NS2 steam permeable?
Yes. Despite the higher weight the loop structure stays open enough for steam and residual moisture.
How long does an NS2 cover last?
That depends strongly on cycle rate and pressing force. As a rule of thumb, visible shine or reduced recovery force is the signal to replace it.
Is NS2 available in other colours?
NS2 is supplied in dark blue; for olive or light blue, NS1 is available.
