Polyester draw string PK29 is a 4 mm, eight-strand braided cord on rolls of 500 metres. It is the strong version for large areas and high tensioning forces.
When 4 mm instead of 3 mm
The larger the area to be tensioned, the higher the load in the cord. On large press plates, wide ironing tables and coverings for intermediate frames, a 3 mm cord can reach its limit. The 4 mm version provides the necessary margin.
The advantage of the large roll
At 500 metres, one roll covers a large number of cover changes. For operations with many machines that means fewer ordering cycles and a lower price per metre across the whole roll.
Handling
The cord is threaded through the edge channel of the cover and knotted beneath the plate. Melt the ends thermally so they do not fray. Supplied in full rolls of 500 metres.

Häufige Fragen
Does the 4 mm cord fit through every edge channel?
On very narrow channels it can be tight – choose the 3 mm PK28 cord if in doubt.
Why only complete rolls?
The cord is converted into a sealed 500 metre roll.
Is there a thinner alternative?
Yes, PK28 at 3 mm and the polyamide cord PK 2.5 at 2.5 mm.
