Polyester needlefelt PNF3 is the most economical needlefelt quality in the range: 500 gsm over 4 to 5 mm at 150 cm width. It is aimed at operations that replace padding on a planned, frequent schedule.
Replace rather than sit it out
A pad gradually loses height and recovery force long before it looks defective. Replacing it regularly keeps pressing quality constant. With an economical quality such as PNF3, that rhythm becomes financially viable.
Technical positioning
At 500 gsm over 4 to 5 mm, PNF3 sits between the thin PNF1 and the standard PNF2. It adds little build-up, levels out slight irregularities and lets steam pass well. For strongly contoured plates a thicker quality makes more sense.
Ordering and cutting
Invoiced in square metres; one running metre at 150 cm equals 1.5 m². Cut with scissors or a rotary cutter; no edge treatment is needed.
