PES wire screening AG27 weighs only 75 gsm at 160 cm width, making it the lightest quality in the wire screening range. It combines a fine structure with a very open surface.
When steam has to pass quickly
On presses with short cycle times, the steam permeability of the build-up determines how quickly the goods dry. AG27 practically does not restrict steam flow, yet is fine enough that its structure does not imprint into the outer fabric.
Top screening and template in one
AG27 sits directly beneath the garment and prevents shine there. Cut to shape it serves as a template for pressing pockets and flaps: light, dimensionally stable and thin enough for a clean edge.
Limits of the material
Low fabric weight also means less substance. Under very high pressing force in continuous operation a heavier quality such as AG15 lasts longer. AG27 plays to its strengths where fineness and steam flow matter more than maximum service life.

Häufige Fragen
How long does AG27 last?
Less long than heavier qualities, but the price per m² is lower. Replace when visible deformation occurs.
Can AG27 serve as an intermediate layer?
Yes, especially where the build-up should stay flat.
How is the requirement calculated?
In square metres; one running metre at 160 cm equals 1.6 m².
