PTFE glass fabric TG8-SK is the self-adhesive version of the non-stick glass fabric: 0.15 mm thick, 100 cm wide, with a heat-resistant silicone adhesive layer on the back.
The advantage of the adhesive layer
A non-adhesive fabric has to be fixed mechanically, with clamps, strips or tensioning devices. On heating plates and sealing bars there is often no room for that. TG8-SK is bonded directly instead, lies flat across the whole surface and forms no air pockets that would impair heat transfer.
Where TG8-SK is used
On heating plates of fusing and transfer presses, on sealing bars of film welding equipment, as a non-stick surface on pressing supports and work surfaces. Wherever a firmly fixed, permanently non-stick surface is required.
Application and ordering
The substrate must be clean, free of grease and dry. Apply the fabric without creases and press it down with a squeegee. Rolls of 30 metres at 100 cm width; for narrow applications the tape versions in 25, 50 and 100 mm are available.

Does the adhesive hold at high temperatures?
The silicone adhesive layer is designed to be heat resistant. For very high continuous temperatures the specific application should be checked.
Can the fabric be removed without residue?
Usually yes, supported if necessary by gentle warming.
Is there an antistatic version?
Yes, TG125-AS SK in black with the same dimensions.
