PTFE high pressure hose US22 is a steam hose for steam irons, 1600 mm long with a 3/16″ bore and 1/4″ connection. The textile insulation makes it safe to handle in operation.
How the hose is built
Inside, a PTFE hose carries the steam; the material is pressure and temperature resistant and has a smooth inner wall where no condensate collects. Outside, a textile insulation dampens the heat and makes the hose safe to touch during operation.
The anti-kink spring at the iron
Right at the iron the hose is bent with every movement. Without protection it eventually kinks at that point and tears. The anti-kink spring spreads the bend over a greater length and is therefore the detail that determines service life.
Check the connection dimensions
3/16″ refers to the inner bore, 1/4″ to the connecting thread. Both must match the machine. Other lengths are available on request; the list price applies from 5 pieces.
