Silicone HT hose SS39 in red measures 6 x 2.75 mm and, with its substantial wall thickness, is designed for steam and hot water. The red colour identifies it clearly as a hot media line.
Wall thickness as a safety margin
At 2.75 mm, SS39 has a considerably stronger wall than the standard SS37 hose. That increases the pressure margin, prevents kinking in tight radii and extends service life under thermal cycling – every heat-up and cool-down cycle stresses the material.
Red identification
In plant engineering, red signals hot media. In pressing operations where several line types run in parallel, this marking considerably reduces the risk of confusion during maintenance and repair.
Ordering and alternatives
Rolls of 50 metres, minimum order 10 running metres. For larger cross-sections, SS39 is also available in 8 x 3.2 mm. Blue is available on request from 1000 metres.

Häufige Fragen
When do I need the 8 mm hose?
When steam throughput is higher, or the line is longer and pressure loss therefore greater.
How long does a silicone hose last?
Several years in normal use. Hardening and cracks at bends are the signals to replace it.
Are other colours available?
Blue is available on request from 1000 metres.
