Silicone HT pressure hose SS50 is blue with red marker threads and measures 5 x 1.5 mm. The marker threads make it immediately identifiable as a pressure line in the machine room.
Identification as a safety factor
In an ironing installation, steam, condensate, compressed air and control lines run side by side. Opening the wrong line during maintenance risks scalding or machine damage. The red marker threads in the blue hose make identification unambiguous.
Construction for pressure applications
With a 1.5 mm wall at 5 mm outer diameter, SS50 is designed for control pressures. Silicone stays flexible enough to be routed through tight machine ducts without kinking.
Routing
Avoid tight bend radii when routing and tighten clamps only enough to avoid constricting the hose. Cut to length with a sharp knife or hose cutter for a straight cut. Minimum order 10 running metres.
