Silicone-Teflon® HT hose SSTS635 combines a flexible silicone jacket with a smooth Teflon® inner core. This construction solves a typical steam line problem: dripping at the iron.
How dripping occurs
In a steam line, steam cools at the wall and condenses. In a rough silicone hose this condensate clings as a film, collects and is carried along as water droplets with the next burst of steam – the classic water stain on the garment.
The solution: a Teflon core
PTFE has an extremely smooth, water-repellent surface. Condensate beads up and drains away instead of collecting. The Teflon® core in SSTS635 therefore keeps the line considerably drier and noticeably reduces water stains on the goods.
Construction and ordering
The silicone jacket provides flexibility and temperature resistance, the PTFE core the smooth inner wall. Dimensions 5 x 3.5 mm, colour dark blue, rolls of 50 metres, minimum order 10 running metres.

The Teflon core makes it slightly stiffer; plan generous bend radii.
Can the hose be cleaned?
