Soft-Fix® SF35 is the blue, medium hardness silicone foam pad from the Original range in 6, 8 and 10 mm at 134 cm width. Medium hardness means it can be used in almost any position of the press build-up.
The all-rounder in the press build-up
As a base pad SF35 carries the load and levels out the plate contour. As an intermediate pad it distributes pressure. As a top pad it yields enough to avoid marking. This versatility makes it the standard pad for mixed production.
Hardness and service life
Medium hardness silicone foams compact more slowly than soft ones while still yielding sufficiently. For high cycle rate operations that means longer replacement intervals with acceptable pressing results throughout the service life.
Choosing the thickness
6 mm for flat build-ups and as an interlayer, 8 mm as the standard, 10 mm for maximum cushioning. Invoiced in square metres; one running metre at 134 cm equals 1.34 m².
