Soft-Fix® SF45 as sheet material measures 2000 x 1340 mm at 8 mm thickness, equal to 2.68 m² per sheet. Sheet material has a practical advantage over roll goods: it lies flat.
Sheet instead of roll
Roll goods carry a curl that shows during cutting and has to be laid out before fitting. A sheet lies flat from the start. For precisely dimensioned cut parts, such as collar, shoulder or special presses, that is the more accurate starting point.
Material properties
SF45 is set medium-firm and therefore designed for service life. The silicone foam stays elastic across a wide temperature range, does not harden and lets steam pass through its open cell structure.
Cutting and ordering
The sheet can be cut with a sharp knife, rotary cutter or band knife. Invoiced in square metres; one sheet equals 2.68 m². For large-area applications the roll goods under item 210062T are usually more economical.
