Soft-Fix® SFRG185 is a light blue silicone foam pad 6 mm thick at 134 cm width. Its hardness sits between the soft and the medium qualities, a deliberately broad compromise.
A pad for mixed production
Operations handling everything from shirts through jackets to trousers need a pad that does nothing perfectly but everything well. SFRG185 is designed exactly for that: soft enough that seams do not print through, firm enough to withstand high cycle rates.
Properties of the material
Like all Soft-Fix® qualities, SFRG185 is made of silicone foam. It stays elastic across a wide temperature range, absorbs almost no moisture and lets steam through its open cell structure. Hardening as with PU foam is practically absent.
Ordering and cutting
Invoiced in square metres; one running metre at 134 cm width equals 1.34 m². Cutting is in full running metres only, from rolls of 10 metres. The material can be cut with a sharp knife or rotary cutter.
