The Teflon® iron shoe MICROFLON for Lemm SB is a non-stick iron shoe with an aluminium frame in the dimension 205 x 115 mm. It is fitted over the existing sole and prevents shine, sticking and residues on the garment.
The frame holds the shoe in position
On frame shoes an aluminium rim encloses the original sole and holds the non-stick foil flat against the heating surface. For Lemm SB with 205 x 115 mm that means the shoe sits without play, transmits heat across the full area and does not lift from the edge even after many working hours.
Protecting the original sole from residues
Starch, finishes, dyes and adhesive residues burn onto bare soles and can only be removed with aggressive agents. A fitted non-stick shoe absorbs that load. Once worn, it is replaced – the original sole underneath stays clean.
When the shoe should be replaced
Three signals indicate the end of service life: the iron glides less easily, the coating looks matt or roughened at the edges, or residues start sticking again. Replacing in good time prevents damage to the goods.

Will the shoe fit my machine securely?
This version is made for Lemm SB with the dimension 205 x 115 mm. If in doubt, measure your original sole, as manufacturers change sole formats across production years.
Does the shoe change the pressing temperature?
Barely. Aluminium conducts heat very well; in practice a slight adjustment of the temperature setting may be all that is needed.
How is the shoe cleaned?
With a cleaning stick such as RS36 on the sole at operating temperature. Never use metal tools – scratches destroy the non-stick effect permanently.
