The Teflon® iron shoe MICROFLON for TFA 1800V / Industar is a non-stick iron shoe with an aluminium frame in the dimension 217 x 104 mm. With clip fixing. It is fitted over the existing sole and prevents shine, sticking and residues on the garment.
Exact fit determines the result
An iron shoe has to match the sole type exactly. Too loose and it shifts during pressing and creates creases; too tight and the frame distorts. The version for TFA 1800V / Industar is made to the dimension 217 x 104 mm and is slid over the existing sole until the rim sits evenly all round.
No sticking of coated materials
Synthetic leather, coated fabrics, appliqués and fusible interlinings stick to hot metal and pull threads. On a PTFE surface they do not adhere. That saves pressing cloths, protects the goods and prevents residues burning onto the sole.
Cleaning and service life
Residues can be removed with a cleaning stick such as RS36 on the sole at operating temperature. Never assist with metal tools – any scratch destroys the non-stick effect permanently. With proper care a shoe lasts several months in continuous use.

Will the shoe fit my machine securely?
This version is made for TFA 1800V / Industar with the dimension 217 x 104 mm. If in doubt, measure your original sole, as manufacturers change sole formats across production years.
Does the shoe change the pressing temperature?
Barely. Aluminium conducts heat very well; in practice a slight adjustment of the temperature setting may be all that is needed.
How is the shoe cleaned?
With a cleaning stick such as RS36 on the sole at operating temperature. Never use metal tools – scratches destroy the non-stick effect permanently.
